In the center of Catalunya you find this rocky massif that presents a unique shape. It plays a fundamental rol in catalan culture as it is where the Virgen of Montserrat, La Moreneta, was found. The monastery of Montserrat is known also cause the school of children known as Schola Cantorum and it happens to be the oldest in Europe, an important library that had and active Scriptorium during the XIVth and XVth century, it has a printing pres called Publicacions de la Abadia de Montserrat and the magazine called Serra D´Or.
